Centenary Gala Dinner – Limited Seats Open for Enrollment

The Centenary Gala Dinner Organising Committee (OC) has been working closely with the school and the venue provider since last week. Today, we are pleased to announce that the second-largest ballroom (namely, the Crystal Ballroom) in the same hotel on a different floor is secured in addition to the original Grand Ballroom. With two ballrooms combined, we will be hosting a total of over 150 tables – a tremendous reunion of the WYK family!

Enrollments as per postmark dated 29 Feb onwards will be seated in the Crystal Ballroom. After accommodating all enrollments received at the early-bird stage, there will be about 20 to 30 tables available for enrollment. Enrollment procedures remain more or less the same. Yet, please note that this additional round of reservation is generally accepted on a first-come-first-served basis (as per postmark), with priority given to classes that missed the first round. Interested parties, please note the following:

  1. Additional Round of Reservation
    • Fill out the same enrollment form, which can also be downloaded here.
    • Make your cheque payable to “Fr. Kelly Educational Fund Limited” (HKD1,500 per pax, HKD18,000 per table)
    • Mail out your form & cheque to: The Principal, Wah Yan College Kowloon, 56 Waterloo Road, Kowloon
    • Envelope: Please mark “2024 Gala Dinner”
  2. Seating Arrangements
    • Please be reminded that the Crystal Ballroom is located on a different floor.
    • Seating capacities: Grand Ballroom (around 100 tables), Crystal Ballroom (around 50 tables).
    • Enrollments as per postmark dated 29 Feb onwards will be seated in the Crystal Ballroom (with the same F&B arrangements). Programme-wise, although we will try our best to strike a balance in the programme design and arrange live performances in both ballrooms, please note that guests in the Crystal Ballroom might need to view some parts of the programme via live streaming.
  3. Enrollments with postmark from 29 Feb to 8 Mar will also be followed up individually – if they wish not to be seated in the Crystal Ballroom, we shall arrange returns (since cheques will not be processed unless seats are confirmed).
  4. A confirmation email will be sent by WYK in 2 weeks upon receipt of the form and cheque.
