Blessing Ceremony for Student Leaders

On 28 November, student leaders of the 54th Students’ Association, Catholic Association, Music Association, House Captains and Head Prefects gathered on stage to be blessed by Fr. Thomas LEUNG and kept in HIS grace. With Fr. LEUNG’s words of inspiration and courage in their hearts, the student leaders pledged to serve and lead with self-awareness, commitment, discernment, reconciliation, and a loving heart.

People like to give advice and be seen as specialists or experts in their chosen field. Once you know the names of the professionals you admire and who have followed the career you want to pursue, try to contact them online or, if you prefer the old-fashioned presentations, by writing a handwritten note for them, for example. Asking for advice on the next steps to take in your career is a good way to make your interlocutors feel important and appreciated. Don’t email tons of resumes – people are busy and their inboxes are full. Always make contact beforehand, before asking for advice or even a favor. Also, find this website to ask writers to check your story to make sure you have a fascinating early career story that will leave no doubt about your talents in all types of jobs in a particular field. Employers will ask you questions (tons of questions!), So prepare clear and concise answers to explain your motivation to want to integrate this field, the steps you want to take to reach this goal and the talents you have to offer. It’s time to approach your passions to make a good impression, mention all your important skills and experiences, crown it all by describing your school and university career and convince each of your interlocutors.
