In the spirit of Men for and with Others, our fine young gentlemen from the STEM Team (Sunny CHENG and Aiken CHUNG of 5K, Lester TAM of 4C, and Alan TSUI of 3W) invented the AI Escalator, considering that sometimes, the speed of escalators at the start and the end might be too rapid for the elderly.  Featured with face detection technology, it is hoped that all passengers, especially the aged, could enjoy a safe and comfortable ride at all times.

Being assessed on all fronts including AI Application and Technical Feasibility, AI Ethics and Social Impact, originality and creativity, problem solving skills, etc., our team emerged as one of the finalists from over 50 contesting teams, and team members were awarded Certificates of Merit.  Congratulations!
