We are delighted to announce that Mr Johnny Yeung, Mr Patrick Chung, Mr Andrew Lee and Mr Lincoln Ng have been awarded the Certificate of Merit in Mathematics Education Key Learning Area in the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence 2024/2025.

The Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence is organized by the Education Bureau to recognize accomplished teachers who demonstrate exemplary teaching practices and to enhance their professional image. In recent years, our Mathematics Department has implemented Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm (IPP) with a Three-tier School-based STEM Education. This inspires our students to understand the world through a mathematical lens and apply mathematics to real-life scenarios, empowering them to contribute to the greater good of the community.

In Wah Yan, we hold our firm belief that we teachers are here to nurture men of human excellence and support the holistic development of our boys. All the efforts that teachers and students devoted to Mathematics over the years have finally come to fruition. We will continue to do better in the spirit of MAGIS and do our utmost to provide high-quality education for our students.
