The year 2021-22 marks the 500th anniversary of the conversion of St. Ignatius. To this end, the Blessing Ceremony for the Statue of St. Ignatius of Loyola was held on 20 February 2021, serving as a prelude to the Ignatian Year.

It was our great honour to have Fr. CHOW, Supervisor of WYK & WYHK, Fr. LEUNG, School Chaplain of WYK, and Fr. LAW preside over the ceremony. It was also heartwarming to see our alumni of different generations dedicate their love and care to their alma mater with generous donations and unreserved contributions.

As we embrace the Ignatian Year, we hope that the statue and the life stories of St. Ignatius could inspire us to initiate a change in our hearts inwardly, and empower us to see all things new in Christ.
