In the light of the exponential increase of local outbreaks involving the Delta and Omicron variants amid the severe fifth wave of COVID-19 infections, the Education Bureau (EDB) announced on 20 January 2022 that face-to-face classes would be suspended from 24 January to 9 February 2022.
