This year, we are honoured to welcome Dr FAN Ning and Mr Ivan CHUNG (Class of 1979) – the Founder and Director of Forget Thee Not, respectively – as our Guests of Honour for Speech Day 2026.

The dual-guest arrangement with one guest being a non-alumnus reflects the power of collaboration, and the strength that comes from diversity.  Dr FAN is devoted to ensuring public access to appropriate health services and extending compassion in life and beyond life – underpinning that public health work is not only about what we do to cure, but what we do to care.

We hope that Wahyanites will find themselves moved by his address – invited, in turn, to carry forward the example set before them: to excel, and to serve, with intention and clarity, the greater good of society and the world beyond it.

And so, Class of 2026: please take this to heart – success is not measured by what you get.  It is measured by what you give.  Be, as always, Men of Human Excellence and Men for and with Others.
