Speech Day 2025
School life has not quite been easy-breezy for this cohort – the Class of 2025 has navigated the tumultuous waters of a pandemic that forced them into remote learning and school suspension since S1. Even on the cusp of their graduation, inclement weather led to yet another suspension, a fitting metaphor for the challenges they have faced throughout the six years of their secondary school life.
Rescheduled for Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Speech Day ceremony unfolded in a spirit of determination. The WYK community came together, united in our shared experiences and collective triumphs. We were deeply honored to welcome Rev. Fr. Jose MESA, SJ, the Secretary for Education of the Society of Jesus, who addressed the graduates with words that resonated deeply – in a new era of uncertainty, we must navigate the challenges ahead with a new level of solidarity and a commitment to the excellence of the heart and soul.
A class forged in adversity, we trust that they are ready to face the world with the Jesuit values and principles they have learned.
